RODGER FUNK'S PAROLE

It has been one year to the day since Blaine Chief of Police Rodger Funk testified on behalf of convicted violent felon David Brudvik without a subpoena, attempting to prevent me from obtaining a temporary protection order from Whatcom District Court Judge Angela Anderson. Funk failed. 

Chief Funk voluntarily came to the defense of the felon who threatened to murder me. Then Funk sent two officers to my home to intimidate me. Then Funk's attorney Rebecca Singleton sent the attached defamatory Senator Shewmake email to the Criminal Justice Training Commission to prejudice the retaliatory policing investigation.

What is Funk still doing as Chief of Police? He is an enormous liability to the city. You fools who celebrated police misconduct need to get with it. Funk is going down, and he will be reviled--along with you--in the Seattle media.

In Kari Mar's ongoing coverup of criminal misconduct by Blaine officials, Northern Light reporters characterize the October 13, 2025 death threats by convicted violent felon David Brudvik against open government activists --in retaliation for our exposing municipal corruption--as conduct "that some residents perceived as threatening."
