Does the Canadian developer you gave downtown on-street parking to for free know that Ordinance 26-3043 that allows him to build skyscrapers without any parking is illegal? State law says that when an ordinance is voted on by a council member with a conflict of interest as Sarbjit Bains has in spades, the ordinance is invalid, and the culprit--in this case Councilwoman Bains--must forfeit the public office. In plain language, Sarbjit must resign, or be prosecuted, and any permits issued to the developer can be challenged in court for extending special privileges.

In Kari Mar's ongoing coverup of criminal misconduct by Blaine officials, Northern Light reporters characterize the October 13, 2025 death threats by convicted violent felon David Brudvik against open government activists --in retaliation for our exposing municipal corruption--as conduct "that some residents perceived as threatening."
