SARBJIT BAINS RESIGNATION COMING SOON

[email to Blaine City Council] State Senator Sharon Shewmake cannot save Blaine Councilwoman Sarbjit Bains, despite her whining (see attached April 28, 2026 email from Bains to Shewmake). The day of reckoning has arrived, and these two crooked politicians are going down. Their dishonesty and thuggery is a disgrace to public office.

COVERUP OF THE COVERUP

The original Blaine citizen complaints to the state centered around the City of Blaine abuse of public process, that was characterized by perjury, self-dealing, and fraud. Those complaints could have been resolved by adopting a code of ethics, and repealing invalid ordinances, along with firing city personnel involved in these crimes. The coverup of these crimes and retaliatory actions by the mayor, chief of police, and city manager escalated the abuse from state law to federal. The coverup of the coverup by the WA Criminal Justice Training Commission and WA Executive Ethics Board makes the State of Washington liable under the Civil Rights Act.

BLAINE CORRUPTION IGNORED BY ATTORNEY GENERAL

For two years (2024-26), we pleaded with the WA State Attorney General for help in protecting Blaine, and were told to "get a lawyer."  When we reported corruption of our retaliatory policing complaints against Blaine Police Department by the WA Criminal Justice Training Commission, the AG's office ignored us. Even after receiving civil protection orders from Whatcom District Court for death threats due to our activism, we could find no help from the state government. Civil rights are apparently only for rich people who can afford lawyers.

CONFRONTING THE GOLIATH

Confronting the goliath of Washington State bureaucracies that behave as though they are above the law, I am reminded of America's founding father, Thomas Paine--author of The Age of Reason, The Rights of Man, and Public Good. Paine's opposition to war profiteers in the Continental Congress echoes the conflict-of-interest war between citizens of Blaine and the City of Blaine. It is due to the advocacy of Paine that Americans who do not own property have the right to vote. The open government advocates opposing municipal corruption at Blaine City Hall are now fighting the state agencies that allowed it.  Paine's pamphlet Common Sense inspired the American revolution. Above all, Paine opposed hypocrisy in government, something that is always risky, but necessary in order to not lose our voices altogether.

EVIL THREAT

Sometimes one is confronted by such an evil threat to the fundamental principles to which we commit ourselves when we say the pledge of allegiance that those with a conscience cannot remain silent. Some of the things to which we pledge in an often mindless rote, similar in form to nursery rhymes, are equality, free speech, and equal protection under the law. When the law itself is undermined by those who hold the highest law enforcement supervisory positions in the state government, there is no longer by definition a rule of law. Citizens attempting to protect their communities from municipal corruption and retaliatory policing thus have no one left to protect them but a federal judge.

UNJUST JUSTICE COMMISSION

The now six-month coverup by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission of retaliatory policing by Blaine Police Department has corrupted the Washington State Executive Ethics Board--located in the Washington State Attorney General's office--which is neglecting its duty to uphold the U.S. Constitution, by refusing to investigate corruption at the CJTC that in 2026 violated the first amendment rights of four Blaine citizens attacked by Blaine PD for exposing corruption at Blaine City Hall.  The Washington State Legislative Ethics Board is presently investigating State Senator Sharon Shewmake's interference in the corrupt policing investigation on behalf of the perpetrating police.
