LAW ENFORCEMENT OFF RAILS
January 17 letter to Blaine City Council:
When law enforcement officers threaten the state legislature, or join in the U.S. Capitol riot against federal lawmakers, or testify on behalf of a convicted violent felon who threatened to murder open government activists as Blaine Chief of Police Rodger Funk did on November 4 in Whatcom District Court, they can lose their badge.
Chief Funk has been reported to the Criminal Justice Training Commission for decertification as a law enforcement officer. Let's hope the CJTC is more responsive than the Whatcom County Prosecutor Eric Richey who has shrugged off Funk's misconduct, and Washington State Attorney General Nick Brown who ignores the problem.
