BLAINE CITY MANAGER MIKE HARMON PERJURY

Perjury by Blaine City Manager Mike Harmon against Blaine Water Coalition leaders is intended to incite violence against us for holding him accountable for fraud. His perjury and fraud include 1) lying to the city council regarding adoption of the 2024 Department of Ecology Stormwater Management Manual, 2) rezoning the Central Business District to financially benefit Blaine officials Mike Hill, Gurdeep Bains, and Sam Randhawa, and 3) misleading voters on the 'Reduction of City Limits' Proposition 2025-07, which is intended to expand the city limits by annexing Birch Point. 

Now, Harmon is committing perjury stating Blaine Water Coalition has cost the city half a million dollars in public records requests and attorneys fees to defend the unlawful Avista at Birch Point Planned Unit Development from our appeal. Harmon provides no proof of expenses, other than to say public records requests take staff time, and lawyer's fees have increased significantly. So what. That's on him. No one made city officials commit perjury, self-dealing, and fraud. They made that choice themselves. They wouldn't need lawyers if they were abiding by state and federal laws. If the city wasn't hiding public documents, we wouldn't need to make requests. We don't have this problem with Whatcom County.

As for costs, fulfilling public records requests are part of the city government's job. Government misconduct, however, is not part of their job. If they get caught committing perjury, self-dealing and fraud-- as they have by us--it is the job of the Prosecuting Attorney, State Auditor and Attorney General to set them straight, not the citizens who uncovered their ongoing crimes. Harmon and Mayor Steward conspired to interfere with the election, and to retaliate against being held accountable, by defaming and demonizing Blaine Water Coalition leaders, leading to death threats by Mike Hill's associate David Brudvik, a convicted violent felon, and a protection order by the Whatcom District Court commissioner.

Letter to County Prosecutor

To Mr. Eric J. The CDN article about the  East Blaine de-annexation  and UGA Swap excludes any mention of the extensively documented Blaine Water Coalition objections we sent to CDN well in advance. I feel this is not fair and balanced coverage. CDN reporter Julia Tellman attended the July 14, 2025 Blaine City Council meeting where as a city council vacancy applicant I introduced myself as a member of the Blaine Water Coalition (BWC) speakers bureau, and provided both an oral and written presentation with alleged legal violations by the city related to the proposed UGA Swap, as well as BWC's legal objections to previous well-documented evidence of City misconduct.
