REDUCTION OF CITY LIMITS BALLOT MEASURE

Dear Mr. Crawford,

The proposed ballot measure to reduce the city limits sent out in yesterday's News Flash does not contain a link to the draft ballot measure proposed by Community Development Services. Without this information, applicants to serve on the voter pamphlet committees cannot decide whether to write pros or cons for the ballot. 

The deadline to apply for these committees is July 10, one week from today. This has not yet been in the news. On July 14, the city council is scheduled to vote on a resolution to place the measure on the November 4 general election ballot. This is inadequate public education and participation on a major city initiative.
