Richard May is a Fascist

6/18/25 letter to city:

At the June 17, 2025, meeting at Blaine Public Library with county council members Scanlon and Elenbaas, Blaine Water Coalition confronted them for neglecting their duty under the law to hold Blaine accountable for fraud and financial conflicts of interest by City of Blaine officials in preparing the 2025 10-year update to the Blaine Comprehensive Plan. When we announced our Formal Complaint to the U.S. Department of Justice against the City of Blaine for "corruption," Blaine City Councilman Richard May reportedly phoned Blaine Chief of Police Rodger Funk, apparently in order to get Funk to remove us because we were telling the truth that May couldn't stop. 

Although May was observed speaking at length with Chief Funk outside the meeting room, May claims he did not ask him to come.

This is not the first time Councilman May has plotted with Blaine Police to prevent free speech by intimidating citizens. Simply put, Richard May is a fascist.

To Mr. Eric J. 1/30/25 letter to City of Blaine : BLAINE'S SHAME CCTV of Blaine City Council member Mike Hill accosting community activist Otto Pointer at the November 13, 2024, council meeting. Mike Hill, owner of Starbuck's and Chevron, as well as a downtown and CARA developer, has not recused himself when voting on zoning amendments to the Blaine Municipal Code that financially benefit him.
