Who says crime doesn't pay? In Blaine it pays very well. 

Blaine Community Development Services director Alex Wenger got promoted and received a pay raise for his crimes. Blaine Planning Commissioner and Freeman Real Estate agent Sam Randhawa by his single vote on the UMU Rezone increased his real estate commission value by $50,000. By his two votes to reduce parking requirements and increase building heights in the Central Business District, Blaine City Councilman Mike Hill increased the value of his numerous commercial properties by millions. 

You might say that official crime has become a tradition under the reign of Blaine Mayor Mary Lou Steward.

1/30/25 letter to City of Blaine : BLAINE'S SHAME CCTV of Blaine City Council member Mike Hill accosting community activist Otto Pointer at the November 13, 2024, council meeting. Mike Hill, owner of Starbuck's and Chevron, as well as a downtown and CARA developer, has not recused himself when voting on zoning amendments to the Blaine Municipal Code that financially benefit him.
