One stupid idea after another best describes the Steward-Harmon administration. Pollute the city aquifer for crooked developers, no problem. Destroy Drayton Harbor for the same, absolutely. 

Now the City of Blaine wants to raise taxes and utility bills on existing residents to build new sewer, water, and electrical infrastructure on the west side of the Semiahmoo Peninsula for two million dollar homes without doing an Environmental Impact Statement as required by state law.

And the city has yet to prove it even has sufficient water to service another one thousand homes or sewer treatment capacity at the Lighthouse Point Water Reclamation plant in Marine Park which has violated the City of Blaine's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit by overflowing into Semiahmoo Bay.

Presently, the City of Blaine is planning to place this new Semiahmoo Peninsula Urban Growth Area (UGA) boondoggle on the ballot for Blaine voters to decide as required by law. 

Good luck with that stupid idea.
