1. Bigotry  

2021--Blaine voters elected Cliff Freeman, anti-transgender advocate, to Blaine School Board.

2. Ignorance

2022-25--The Northern Light (Patrick Grubb and Grace McCarthy) covers up criminal misconduct at Blaine City Hall.

3. Corruption

2023-25--City of Blaine employees Alex Wenger, Mike Harmon, and Peter Ruffatto (city attorney) conspire against free speech, a code of ethics, and the rule of law.

1/30/25 letter to City of Blaine : BLAINE'S SHAME CCTV of Blaine City Council member Mike Hill accosting community activist Otto Pointer at the November 13, 2024, council meeting. Mike Hill, owner of Starbuck's and Chevron, as well as a downtown and CARA developer, has not recused himself when voting on zoning amendments to the Blaine Municipal Code that financially benefit him. This self-dealing is against the law.
