Losing Number

5/8/25 letter to city and county:

In the May 2025 Salishan Neighborhood newsletter, Blaine City Councilwoman Sonia Hurt notes the city is going broke. While blaming it on the psychopath's tariffs, Blaine's financial crisis did not begin with border problems. 

Under the criminal mismanagement of the City of Blaine by Mayor Mary Lou Steward, all city resources were devoted to facilitating unlawful Planned Unit Developments and Blaine Municipal Code amendments for zoning and land use that are now unraveling due to fraud by Blaine Community Development Services director Alex Wenger.

Unfortunately, the city placed all its chips on a losing number.

To Mr. Eric J. 1/30/25 letter to City of Blaine : BLAINE'S SHAME CCTV of Blaine City Council member Mike Hill accosting community activist Otto Pointer at the November 13, 2024, council meeting. Mike Hill, owner of Starbuck's and Chevron, as well as a downtown and CARA developer, has not recused himself when voting on zoning amendments to the Blaine Municipal Code that financially benefit him.
