Steward's Hypocrisy

2/15/25 letter to City of Blaine: 

In the CBC News television clip interview of Blaine Mayor Mary Lou Steward, Steward lauded the efforts of the City of Blaine to clean up Drayton Harbor and to develop the shellfish industry [begun by Drayton Harbor Oyster Company] in Semiahmoo Bay. During Mayor Steward's reign of corruption, she has led the way in the trashing of the Drayton Harbor watershed by unscrupulous developers, including Blaine City Council members Mike Hill and Rhyan Lopez.

1/30/25 letter to City of Blaine : BLAINE'S SHAME CCTV of Blaine City Council member Mike Hill accosting community activist Otto Pointer at the November 13, 2024, council meeting. Mike Hill, owner of Starbuck's and Chevron, as well as a downtown and CARA developer, has not recused himself when voting on zoning amendments to the Blaine Municipal Code that financially benefit him. This self-dealing is against the law.
